Coimbatore: Indian Army won the 51st All India Basketball PSG Trophy for men, while Chattisgarh emerged winners of the 14th CRI Pumps Trophy for women, which concluded here on Saturday.

In a neck to neck game, Army men from Delhi, who were runners in the last edition, defeated Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai 59-53.


Gopalram scored 17 and Arockya Babu 10 for the winners, while Sivabalan 19 and Rikin Pethani nine for the runners.


In the closely contested women's match Chattisgarh defeated KSEB 84-78 to win the CRI Pumps Trophy.


Poonam Chaturvedi top-scoreed with 48 points for the winners, while Grima Merlin Varghese scored 19 points for the KSEB.


Both the teams won by six points.
