Gorakhpur: A student leader of Gorakhpur University has been shot dead allegedly by unknown persons at his residence in Shahpur area of the city. Pradeep Singh `Sahjanwa` was attacked on Tuesday night by unknown assailants, police said, adding, Singh died while being taken to a nearby hospital.
There were more than half-a-dozen bullets in his body, police said. Singh, a native of Chiluataal area of the district, was active in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University.
