New Delhi: It might not have come against one of the most fearsome bowling attacks, but Mumbai school cricketer Pranav Dhanawade sent shockwaves around the cricket fraternity as he became the first batsman ever to score 1000 runs in an innings.

Dhanawade was unbeaten on 1009* when his team finally declared on 1465.
The child prodigy faced 323 balls in his innings.
The youngster batted for 395 minutes.
Dhanawade's knock came at a staggering strike rate of 312.38.
He hit 59 sixes (354 runs)
He hit 129 fours. (516 runs)
On Monday, he remained unbeaten on 652 thereby breaking the record of AEJ Collins who scored an unbeaten 628 in a club match in England in 1899.
On Day 2 of the Bhandari Trophy tournament, Pranav went on to break the 1000-run barrier.
