Chennai: Three Tibetan students on a cycle rally to spread awareness on the Tibetan cause for autonomy under China arrived here Tuesday.
Lugeon Thar, Tselo Gyal and Gyaltsen, all Class 11 students from Himachal Pradesh, were stopping here for a day on their way to Delhi. The trio started their rally from Bylakuppe, a prominent Tibetan settlement, in Karnataka on January 20 and will reach Delhi on March 20.
They will also stop at Murdgod, Goa, Pune, Mumbai, Surat, Gandhinagar and Jaipur. "This is our winter vacation.We wanted to spread awareness on Tibet among others. India has been a great nation giving us moral support. We want autonomy under Chinese rule," Gyal said.
All three cycles had a Tibetan flag on them.
