Asia Cup 2016: Pakistan vs UAE, Match 6 - Players to watch out for
Afridi is the most experienced campaigner in the team and the onus would be on him to put a match-winning effort both with the bat as well as ball.
New Delhi: Pakistani cricket team would be gutted with the way they performed against MS Dhoni-led India in their opening match of the Asia Cup.
Shahid Afridi's boys were skittled out for just 83 in their opening encounter. The batsmen looked in a hurry to reach the pavilion and barring Sarfraj Ahmed, none of the batsmen showed any signs of resilience.
On the other hand, UAE too have been winless in the tourment so far. Despite a decent show, Amjad Javed-led team is yet to register their first point.
As these two teams lock horns today, here are players to watch out for:
Mohammed Amir: His sensational spell against India is still being talked about and it remains to be seen whether UAE's inxperienced batting line-up can cope up with the pressure of playing him.
Shahid Afridi: He is the most experienced campaigner in the team and the onus would be on him to put a match-winning effort both with the bat as well as ball.
Amjad Javed: The skipper has bowled some wonderful spells in the tournament so far and it's crucial from the team's perspective that he gives his country early breakthroughs.
Shaiman Anwar: A hard-hitting batsmen, the right-hander was UAE's most consistent player in ICC World Cup 2015 and the team would be counting on him for a big knock.
