The south-paw who was dropped for the ODI series against Australia, made his comeback on Tuesday in the first T20 game held in Adelaide.

Raina played an important role after sharing a 135-run-partnership with Virat Kohli that helped them set a mammoth target of 189 runs. Australia lost the game eventually by 37 runs as Raina scored a well made 41.

Raina has 1024 runs in T20s and is behind Kohli (1106) who is India's leading scorer in the format.

Raina was praised by skipper MS Dhoni after the game for his batting.

The UP skipper recently lifted the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 trophy for his side and will look to be pivotal for India too and bank on his performances to make a comeback in the ODI set-up too.
