New Delhi: Senior BCCI official Rajeev Shukla on Monday stated that the BCCI was a responsible body and will not do anything against national interest.

The Congress MP's statement came after Shiv Sena workers stormed the board's Mumbai office to protest against the visit of PCB chief Shahryar Khan.


Khan along with other PCB officials were in Mumbai to discuss the India-Pakistan bilateral series slated for December.


The IPL commissioner went on to also that cricketing decisions should be left to BCCI.





Shiv Sena had earlier stormed into the BCCI office to protest against the meeting with the PCB.


The Shiv Sainiks charged into the office chanting 'vande matram' and slogans against PCB chief Shahryar Khan.


They cornered BCCI president Shashank Manohar and protested saying they will not allow any cricket ties with Pakistan.
