Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has roped in physiotherapist Andrew Leipus at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

According to a Times of India report, the Australian, who has been a former Team India physio has been called for his services yet again by the Indian board.


“Leipus will take care of all the Indian players (who're contracted with the Board) at the NCA,“ a BCCI official told TOI on Wednesday.


Leipus' previous stint with the Indian team (1999 to 2004) was a fruitful one.


He was credited for improving the fitness levels of Indian cricketers.
