Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon proposed to his cabinet on Sunday to delay by 24 hours a decision on whether to allow a UN fact-finding mission to visit the devastated refugee camp in Jenin, Israeli public radio said. Sharon said the postponement was necessary because Israel was not yet satisfied with UN answers to its questions about the remit of the mission, headed by Finland's former president Martti Ahtisaari, which is waiting in Geneva for Israel's green light to visit.
