Digvijay sticks to stand on RSS support for Anna

New Delhi: Despite denials by the Gandhian,
Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Friday night stuck to his stand that
Anna Hazare`s agitation was backed by RSS.
"I am not able to understand what has happened to Anna.
Ram Madhav (RSS Spokesperson) was seen on his stage. Thanks
was conveyed to Nitin Gadkari from there and a statement was
issued by Govindacharya favouring his acts," Singh told
reporters.
He wondered why Anna is avoiding RSS. "Does it not mean being ungrateful"? Singh`s comments came a day after Hazare hit back saying the charge of RSS support to his anti-corruption campaign was an attempt to defame him.
The 74-year-old Gandhian had sought to puncture the points raised by Singh in his two letters in which the Congress General Secretary had claimed RSS was backing Hazare`s Lokpal campaign and that he was surrounded by associates who are anti-Congress. Singh has also written back.
