Dhoni's strategy was executed by Pandya as the team successfully defended the 11 runs they had to off the last 6 balls.

Senior players of the side were engrossed in an intense discussion after every ball of the final over.

Post match every Indian cricket fan wanted to know what the skipper said to Pandya ahead of that all-important final over.

Speaking to BCCI.tv, the all-rounder revealed Dhoni's words of wisdom that helped India stay alive in the tournament.

“He didn’t tell me much. He just told me ‘bindaas kar’ (bowl without any fear) because he knows that if I do something with confidence, I would get success. He gave me full freedom to bowl the way I wanted to,” said Pandya.

Bangladesh many would say, managed to pull out a defeat from the jaws of victory.

Having done all the hard work, the Tigers lost three wickets in the last three balls of Pandya's over.
