Chasing 185, Windies were provided a brisk start by Chris Gayle (18) and Johnson Charles (20), who scored 36 runs off just 3.3 overs.

But soon, Jasprit Bumrah broke the dangerous looking stand by cleaning up Gayle, while Shami struck in the next over to send Charles back in the hut.

The remaining batsmen failed to resurrect the innings as Indian bowlers picked wickets at quick intervals. Mohammed Shami, Pawan Negi, Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya shared two wickets apiece.

Batting first, after losing Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane with 56 runs on board, Rohit found company in Yuvraj Singh (31), as the duo stitched 89 runs for the third wicket.

As wickets fell from one end, an unperturbed Sharma continued to punish the Windies bowlers.

India will now take on South Africa in their second warm-up match on March 12.
