Ullhas, who had earlier pointed out Amitabh Bachchan's mistake while he sang the National Anthem at the Eden Gardens during Indo-pak match ICC World T20 match, now wants the Team India players to not put tricolor on their helmets during the upcoming semi final clash against West Indies in Mumbai.

“It is illegal to paste tricolour on helmets. Our national pride is disrespected by that, it is shameful to note that the players are seen spitting on the ground where they also put their helmet (when not in use),” he said.

Ullhas had earlier brought the matter to skipper MS Dhoni’s notice via Twitter.

“Dhoni stopped using the tricolour but others have not. Hence, I took the matter to the cops in Mohali,” he added.

Barring Indian skipper, almost all Team India players wear the tricolor on their helmets.
