Earthquake hits Haryana
A low-intensity earthquake on Sunday hit Rohtak and Sonepat districts of Haryana but no loss of life or damage to property was reported.
The quake, measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale, occurred
at 0455 hrs, the MeT department said in Delhi.
People rushed out of their homes in panic as the tremor
struck.
"I felt tremors for nearly 40 to 50 seconds. I and my
family rushed out of our house in panic," Birender, a resident
of Sonepat, said.

The earthquake with a latitude of 28.8 degree north and
a longitude of 76.7 degree east occurred at a depth of 10-km,
