Virat Kohli seeks inspiration from MMA legend Conor McGregor - VIDEO

New Delhi: India Test captain Virat Kohli has sought inspiration from one of the most celebrated Mixed Martial Arts exponent Conor McGregor, who once declared that there's no talent, but only hard work.
A day after leading India to a thumping 246-run win over England in the second Test match at Visakhapatnam, Kohli hailed McGregor as a legend in a Twitter post, with a photo of Irish star with his quote.
Often regarded as one of the most hard-working cricketers ever, Kohli's liking of the statement comes as no surprise. Both Kohli and the Irish legend do unthinkable acts in the field of play.
If Kohli is regarded as a modern day batting great, Connor is the first man to hold two Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) titles at the same time. He knocked out American Eddie Alvarez at Madison Square Garden earlier this month to achieve that feat, and he now holds both UFC featherweight and lightweight belts.
Leading with example, the 28-year-old Indian skipper hit 167 and 81 in the Vizag Test and won the man-of-the-match award.
The first Test ended in a draw at Rajkot, and the third match will be played Mohali, starting Saturday.
For McGregor, he is likely to defend the lightweight title against undefeated and No.1 challenger Khabib Nurmagomedov of Russia.
