In the 46th over, with the Kiwis pushing for every possible run, Ross Taylor looked for a second after playing towards fine-leg. But a loopy throw from Dhawal Kulkarni forced Dhoni to produce something unthinkable, to complete a brilliant run out to send back Taylor.

As seen in this video, Dhoni, who was standing some good distance away from the stumps directed the ball towards the wicket, and hitting it with a marksman's precision.

Soon, the video become viral.

A win today will give India an unassailable lead 3-1 lead. India have already won the three-match Test series 3-0, under Virat Kohli's leadership.

New Zealand, opting to bat first, failed to capitalise on the good start provided by the openers, and could only post 260 for 7.
