Rare white tiger cubs born in Ukraine zoo
A white tiger in a Yalta zoo gave birth to four rare tiger cubs on May 7.
Kiev: A white tiger in a Yalta zoo gave birth to four rare tiger cubs on May 7.
One of the cubs is an albino, according to zoo workers. The newborns are in good health and are being taken care of by staff at the Skazka Zoo in southern Ukraine.
The birth is an important event, as four kittens from a cat is very rare and that too white tigers which are so rare. The mother tiger is named Tigrulya in honour of former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
A contest is being held to name the four newborn cubs.
