Amid tight security arrangements, the team members led by Test skipper Hashim Amla checked into their five-star hotel here.

While the Indian team is scheduled to reach here tomorrow, the visitors will be getting the first taste of the conditions with a morning practice session at the PCA stadium.

The Indian team, which has lost the T20 and the ODI series against the visiting South Africans, will be looking forward to make amends under the command of Virat Kohli in the first Test at Mohali, with the PCA authorities promising a "good cricketing strip".
