Confirming the news, selector Gavin Larsen said that Corey hasn't recovered yet and it would be better for him to continue with his rehabilitation.

According to Sport24, all-rounderMitchell Santner will replace injured Corey for the upcoming series.

Larsen insisted that it would be good opportunity for Santner, adding that his inclusion would benefit the team as he could bat well and his left-arm-spin would also bring variety to the bowling department.

New Zealand will play three Tests against Australia , starting from November 5 at Brisbane.
