Former IT minister R B Udhayakumar, chided by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister for his "extravagance", was today relieved from the post of party`s students wing secretary.
S Saravanaperumal will replace Udhayakumar, a press statement said here. Similarly, former Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments minister S P Shanmuganathan was removed from the post of party`s Tuticorin district secretary. Labour Welfare Minister S T Chellapandian replaces him. Udhayakumar and Shanmuganathan were among the six ministers sacked by Jayalalithaa last week.
