New Delhi: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is in red hot form since his return to Indian cricket team, is excited that Rajkot is set to host the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches for the very first time in the forthcoming season.

“I am feeling good, for the first time IPL will be played in Rajkot, it has also become Test venue,” Jadeja told ANI.


Earlier, he has played for three different franchises in the IPL – Rajasthan Royals, Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Chennai Super Kings.


Now, the 27-year-old, will represent Rajkot (homeland), as the new franchise picked him for Rs 9.5 crore during the recently held Players' draft.


Ninth edition of the popular Indian Premier League will start from April 9.
