The West Indian wanted to be with his partner Natasha Berridge, who is expecting their child.

If media reports are to be believed, then Gayle is going to miss the matches against Mumbai Indians (April 20 Wednesday) and Rising Pune Supergiants (April 22 Friday).

Gayle took a flight to Jamaica on April 18 and posted his picture on Instagram and wrote 'I'm on my way, Baby', while referring to Berridge.

The 36-year-old cricketer hasn't done anything noteworthy with the willow for RCB in their first two matches of the season.

In their opening clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he didn't trouble the scorers much and got out after scoring just one run. And against Delhi Daredevils, the southpaw didn't even manage to open his account.
