The Intex Technologies-owned franchise has hosted their home matches at Rajkot, and Keshav Bansal, Director of Intex Technologies acknowledged the fact that they have received huge support from the Gujarat city.

But the owner of the franchise also shared his elation to bring the cash-rich tournament to Uttar Pradesh.

The Suresh Raina-led side will play their remaining two home games this season at Kanour's historic Green Park. And this will be the first time that the world's premier Twenty20 cricket league is playing in UP, one of the traditional hubs of Indian cricket.

Gujarat will take on Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on May 19 and 21 respectively.
