New Delhi: India's limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be leading a new franchise Rising Pune Supergiants in the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League.

Dhoni, who was the skipper of the now suspended Chennai Super Kings for eight years, posted a photo of him wearing the new jersey on his Facebook page.



Earlier, Dhoni had shared another photograph on his Facebook page and said that he was excited for a new journey with a new franchise.



Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions have replaced suspended franchises Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals for the next two years.
