Like father, like son: Arjun Tendulkar smashes 106 runs for Mumbai in U-16 match
The youngster had also smashed 118 from just 42 balls in September last year.
New Delhi: Arjun Tendulkar, son of Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, seems to be following in his father's footsteps as he smashed a century yesterday.
Arjun scored 106 runs while playing for Sunil Gavaskar XI against the Rohit Sharma XI in the Mumbai Cricket Association U16 Payyade Trophy.
The 16-year-old chose the perfect venue for his ton as it came at Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana Grounds – a venue named after his father.
Unlike Tendulkar, Arjun bats left-handed and is a left-arm seam bowler.
Earlier this year, Arjun was seen bowling at English batsmen at the nets.
The youngster had also smashed 118 from just 42 balls in September last year.
