He achieved the feat against Pakistan in the ongoing fourth ODI at UAE. Buttler also broke England record of the fastest ton in this process.

Buttler hit 10 fours and eight sixes in an overall 116 not out from 52 balls as England posted 355-5.

He has now scored the three fastest England centuries in the 50-over game, along with a 66-ball hundred against New Zealand in June. He was well supported by Jason Roy who scored his maiden ton in ODIs and Joe Root (71) on Friday.

Buttler was dropped from the Test side against Pakistan earlier and he has repaid his faith with this brutal knock.

Fellow England all-rounder Ben Stokes praised Buttler and stated some people will have different views now of Buttler.
