Lavishing praise on Misbah, Bazid said that the 41-year-old is a brilliant batsman as well as a great captain, PakPassion.net reported.

Describing Misbah as a 'passionate cricketer', Bazid said that the former has great love for cricket and he would always remain associated with the game despite his retirement.

The former player also expressed his views on Shoaib Malik's return, saying he was brilliant against the spinners and performed fantastically.

He further said that Malik is a utility cricketer in one-day matches, who has the ability to change the momentum of the game himself.

Bazid, however, said that he is not sure of Malik's ability in Test cricket as he has not shown the quality of taking the number three or four slot.

Pakistan , who have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series against England, will play their final Test at Sharjah on November 1.

Besides, the two sides will also play four ODIs and three T20s, starting from November 11.
