Gaya: A girl was killed and another got injured after coming under the wheels of a truck near Parsawa in Bihar`s Gaya district on Friday, a police official said.
Angry locals blocked the road with the body, refusing to budge unless compensation was given to the bereaved family Anju Kumari was on way to school when she and another girl got run over by a truck.
While Anju died on the spot, the other girl Poonam Kumari was taken to the Sadar Hospital with serious injuries, the official said. Local people blocked the road between Konch and Parsawa areas demanding compensation to her victim and did not allow the cops to take away the body. PTI
