Interestingly he had all five victims to his name.

Broad took five wickets in 31 balls and gave away a solitary run to blow the South Africans away on Saturday.

The New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg saw some great spell of fast bowling from the magician Stuart Broad who gave a glimpse of his bowling a fiery spell at Nottingham in the Ashes series against Australia last year.

Stuart Broad also surpassed Bob Willis as England's third highest wicket-taker.

South Africa who rode on the brilliance of Kagiso Rabada to keep England within their reach of the first innings score, were bamboozled by Broad in their second innings.

The Proteas are now staring at a defeat and also a series loss.

Earlier in 2015, Broad Australia were out before lunch itself. He went on a carnage after wrecking the Australian batting line-up who were shot for a dismal 60-run first innings score in the fourth Test Ashes match in Nottingham.

He finished with figures of 8/15 as Australia were all out for 60 runs in their first innings as they lasted only 18.3 overs.

Broad once again showed he is one of the most destructive bowlers in Test cricket.

South Africa were bowled out for 83 on the 3rd day of the third Test.

Stuart Broad's spell of 12.1-6-17-6 at Johannesburg, revisited his spell of 9.3-5-15-8 at Trent Bridge on August 6, 2015

Michael Vaughan praised Broad for taking his seventh five-for in a single spell in Test cricket.
