Lucknow: The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday directed Uttar Pradesh government to address the grievances of IPS officer Amitabh Thakur, who has made allegations of harassment against his seniors, and asked it to wind up the case within four months. The Lucknow bench comprising justices Devi Prasad Singh and S C Chaurasia said the officer would have to place his representation before the chief secretary within a month. In his writ petition, Thakur had accused senior officials, including principal secretary (Home) Kunwar Fateh Bahadur and Vijay Singh - secretary to the Chief Minister, of harassing him.
