Lucknow: Yoga guru Ramdev on Monday termed team Anna member Prashant Bhushan`s comments on Kashmir as "dangerous" and "shameful", and said he should be booked for the "divisive" remarks.
"A member of team Anna gave some statement recently. If people associated with social campaigns give divisive statements, it is unfortunate and shameful," Ramdev told reporters here.
"As per the law, everyone has the freedom of expression, but this issue is about morality and patriotism. The person should show loyalty towards the nation," he said. In a reply to a question, Ramdev said "a case should be lodged against such persons."
"If members of team Anna will get impatient and give such statements then it will result in lack of confidence among people towards social campaigns," he said.
"Anna Hazare should clear his stand on the issue and core committee of the team should take some decision as it is related to unity of the country and is a serious matter," he said.
Referring to Anna Hazare`s statement that he would work with Congress if the UPA government ensures passage of a strong Lokpal Bill, Ramdev said "my campaign will continue till the three issues of black money, corruption and change in system are addressed."
"Black money is a bigger issue than corruption," he said.
The defeat of the Congress in the Hisar Lok Sabha bypoll was a big indication towards changing political scenario, Ramdev said. "The Congress has lost all constitutional and moral rights to continue in power," he said.
Ramdev said "if the party does not introspect and clarify its plan of action on the issues of black money, corruption and change in system, then Congress will have to face defeat in future elections, including Uttar Pradesh."
"I will start my yatra from Etawah in UP again from tomorrow and there will be a big movement before the elections," he said.
Ramdev, however, said he would give a last chance to the Congress and if it did not work properly then there would be open opposition.
