The 28-year-old off-spinner toyed with Proteas batsman at the slowish Providence Stadium pitch, in Guyana. His efforts help West Indies bundled out AB de Villiers' team for a paltry 188 in 46.5 overs.

Forced to remodel his action after it was deemed illegal during the Caribbean side`s last ODI campaign in Sri Lanka last November, Narine was making a return to international cricket.

He, however, played at the recently concluded Indian Premier League in India for two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders.
