It is hard to believe that at a tender age of 4, Shayan Jamal is chosen as one of the batsmen to represent his school in the U-12 team.

As revealed by the father, who himself has been a club level cricketer, Shayan gets himself glued to TV sets as soon as a cricket match is being displayed while most children of the same age can't live without cartoons.

As reported by sputniknews.com, the child is presently receiving coaching from noted cricket coach Uttam Bhattacharya. Shayan's talent was immideately valued by Uttam who admitted him to his cricket academy and now trains him regularly.

According to Uttam, “Shyan is a child prodigy, a wonder boy. He is special because at such a small age he not only bats but bats well with proper cricketing sense. Even the great Sachin Tendulkar, who ruled the cricketing world for nearly two and half decades, did not understand cricket at the age of four.”

Uttam also expressed desire to see Shayan playing for his country one day.
