Viv Richards: I will not decline any coaching offers from PCB

Richards is currently giving his services to PSL franchise Quetta Gladiators as a mentor.

Karachi: Legendary West Indian batsman Sir Vivian Richards is quite open with the idea of heading Pakistan's national cricket team as a chief coach.

Richards, who is currently giving his services to Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Quetta Gladiators as a mentor, clearly said he would not decline any coaching offers from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Though at the same time he also feels that the current Pakistan coach Waqar Younis is doing a "great job".

"Waqar Younis at present is doing a great job with the Pakistan team but if given an opportunity to take up a coaching assignment with Pakistan cricket I would definitely give it a shot as I believe I have a lot to offer to the game," Richards was quoted as saying by the PTI.

In fact, Richards also looked a bit disappointment with the attitude of international teams, who are not touring Pakistan, due to security concerns.

"Pakistan is an important member of the world cricket community and it is sad to see no international cricket being played in Pakistan and I just hope things improve soon," added 63-year old.
