New Delhi: Reverse swing king Sarfraz Nawaz on Sunday questioned Pakistan's bowling coach Mustaq Ahmed after Yasir Shah tested positive for a banned substance.

According to The News Tribe, Nawaz hinted during an interview to a TV channel that the leg-spinner used the medicine on the recommendation of Ahmed.


Shah is expected to challenge his provisional suspension by ICC.


The 29-year-old has picked up 76 wickets from 12 Tests at an average of 24.17.


Forty-nine of those wickets have come this year.
