Not that Manchester City front-man Sergio Aguero requires such embellishment to prove his scoring prowess, but the presence of two head of states of two great nations of China and Great Britain -- President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister David Cameroon -- sure accentuate his online presence.

The selfie, shared from City's official Twitter handle, went viral within minutes with leading media outlets giving it prime spots. In the selfie, the 27-year-old Argentine was seen flanked by the two leaders, both looking like proud fans especially the British PM.

It's another matter that, the Chinese President is a known Manchester United fan, and the proud United fans will not like one of theirs spending time at the 'Noisy Neighbours'.

Aguero will miss Sunday's high octane Manchester derby after picking up a knee injury on international duty for Argentina, but the former Atletico Madrid player seemed to have enjoyed his political connections.

As part of the Chinese president's state visit to the United Kingdom, David Cameron and Xi Jinping were hosted by City Chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak at the Etihad training ground.

Besides the company of Citizens, the President and Prime Minister were also greeted by former United players and ambassadors like Dennis Law and Gary Neville during their visit to academy.
