Before we get to the most important game on the Indian football calender, there are two more interesting duels lined up on Friday.

In the first match Salgaocar FC will host new boys DSK Shivajians at Vasco's Tilkak Maidan in Goa, while the second encounter is the hugely anticapted derby between Shillong Lajong and Aizawl FC.

A win for Salgaocar or DSK will propel them to fourth on table. Both teams have 12 points, with Greens boasting of a better goal difference.

The Shivajians have come into the match with a win against East Bengal and will be looking to continue to keep the momentum going, something they have struggled to do throughout the campaign.

Lajong lie at the bottom of the table with 11 points and cannot afford to drop points against Aizawl who sit at fifth on the table with 12 points.

"Positives are the youngsters graduating and proving that they are good enough for the League. Also the team spirit is good that will help us fight and do better in the remaining 5 matches," Lajong coach Thangboi Singto said on the the eve of the match.
