Kochi: Kerala Blasters FC co-owner Sachin Tendulkar on Monday unveiled the jersey of the team at a function in Kochi.

The team jersey is very similar to the t-shirt that the Blasters team wore during the logo launch and s yellow in color.


Speaking on the occasion, the batting legend spoke of various ways through which his team will focus on promoting sport at the grass root level. The 42-year-old also encouraged others to involve students into various sports from a very young age.


The function was attended by all 27 players of the Kerala Blasters team and co-owner Prasad Potluri and Kerala Football Association (KFA) president KMI Mather.


The Blasters squad is currently training at the Corporation stadium in Thrissur. After playing a practice match against Mohammedan Sporting on Saturday, the team members came to Kochi on Sunday.
