Perthshire: Jyoti Randhawa turned
in a blemishfree three-under 69 to rise to the tied eighth
spot but Gaganjeet Bhullar (75) continued to languish at the
bottom after the penultimate round of the Johnnie Walker Golf
Championship here.
The third-round 69, which included three birdies, took
Randhawa`s overall total to seven-under 209 and put him in
contention for a good finish in the event.
The third Indian in fray, Jeev Milkha Singh, lay at the
tied 32nd position after a steady two-under 70 left him
three-under 213 overall.
But Bhullar continued to struggle and was tied for the
58th spot with a total of two-over 218.
Randhawa was off to a fine start as he picked up a stroke
on the second hole and it went steady from there leaving him
one-under at the turn.
The back-nine was also bogey-free and Randhawa stroked in
back-to-back birdies on the 14th and 15th to rise up the
leaderboard.
Jeev also had a similar day with a seventh-hole bogey
being the only blot on his card, which comprised three
birdies.
Bhullar, in contrast, had another nightmarish day and
ended up dropping five bogeys against just a couple of
birdies.
At the top, Italian Francesco Molinari (68) held a
one-stroke lead over his brother Edoardo with a total of
10-under 206.
