Howrah: The body of an eight-year-old boy, the fourth to be found floating in the Damodar river in Howrah district, was fished out on Wednesday, police said.
The body of the boy was found at Rabibhag village in the Bagnan police station area, they said. The bodies of two girls aged around four to five were found in the river at Murdaberia and that of a 10-year-old boy at Rabibhag yesterday.
Three of the children belonged to a family living at Tikiapara in the district and the other was their cousin who had gone out with their father a few days ago, they said. The father was mentally challenged and is missing since then, they said, adding a manhunt has been launched for the father. PTI
