`Those accused of moral policing to be treated as criminals`
The Kerala government would henceforth treat those accused in cases of `moral policing` as criminals, home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, said on Saturday.

Speaking at the state conference of Kerala Police Officers Association here, the minister said those indulging in such are `sabotaging` law and order and as such should be treated as criminals. Police should not heed criticism while discharging their duties in a true and fair manner, he said.
Radhakrishnan lauded the service of Director General of Police Jacob Punnoose, who is scheduled to retire next month. In a brief talk with mediapersons on the sidelines of the function, he said the chargesheet in connection with TP Chandrasekharan murder case will be prepared according to law.
Marxist rebel and leader of Revelutionary Marxist Party Chandrasekharan was hacked to death by a seven-member gang on May 4 at Vadakara in Kozhikode district.
