Tracing the journey of BJP from the Jan Sangh days, he said it had become one of the top two recognised political parties in the country ensuring a bi-polar polity. He said that if a country had to become a superpower, it could happen only with good governance, promoting welfare of weaker sections and ensuring all-round security.
