Dogra demands govt support for India`s body building team
Former world champion in body building Prem Chand Dogra has demanded that the Union government sponsor the participation of the Indian team in the forthcoming Mr Universe Championship.

Federation (IBBF), Prem Chand Dogra has demanded that the
Union government sponsor the participation of the Indian team
in the forthcoming Mr Universe Championship.
Talking to reporters here today, Dogra said, "Why the
government of India does not recognise body building as a
sport activity."
Body building is getting recognition at both national and
international level and more and more people are joining this
upcoming area as a profession, he added.
Dogra demanded that the Union government sponsor the
Indian team for the Mr Universe competition, to be held in
Miami, US in June.
Dogra was in the city for the third senior Mr India 2011
body building championship organised at the Gujarat Public
School in Kalali in which 240 body builders from 27 states
took part.
