Clean chit to BKU leader in criminal case
A criminal case was registered against Rakesh Tikait and other BKU activists on October 14, 2008 for allegedly ransacking a power department store.
Muzaffarnagar: Police have given a clean chit to Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait and others in a case related to ransacking of UP Power Corporation
store.
In the final report submitted on October 25, police have stated there is no evidence against the accused, officials said here today. The complainant Suresh Chand, an engineer in the UP Power Corporation, has also given his acceptance to the police report, they said. A criminal case was registered against Tikait and other BKU activists on October 14, 2008 for allegedly ransacking a power department store over some transmission related dispute.
