Love in Rio: Olympic champions Laura Trott and Jason Kenny get married
Trott won two golds to become Britain`s most successful female Olympian while Kenny`s three golds took his overall tally to six following previous successes in Beijing and London.
New Delhi: Love blossomed for Olympic champions Jason Kenny and Laura Trott finally getting marrid on yesterday after their prolonged courtship.
British cycling`s golden couple Jason Kenny and Laura Trott were expected to tie the nuptial knot after the 2016 Rio Olympics, and it happened yesterday in a private ceremony.
Kenny, 28, confirmed that he and Trott are now hunband and wife with a tweet on Sunday which said: "Good morning Mrs Kenny."
It showed a photograph of a smiling Trott huddled up in bed with the couple`s dogs, Sprolo and Pringle, at her feet.
Trott, 24, and Kenny both enjoyed more Olympic success at this year`s Rio Games.

Trott`s delighted father also wrote on Sunday: "So pleased to announce that my darling daughter @LauraTrott31 married @JasonKenny107 yesterday (Saturday). Thank you to everyone. A wonderful day."
Trott is a four-time Olympic champion after retaining the team pursuit and women`s omnium titles in Rio that she won at London 2012.
Kenny now has seven Olympic track sprint medals, six of which are gold.
