SP leader joins BJP in Delhi
A local Samajwadi Party leader Athar Turky joined the BJP today and was appointed as the Delhi Secretary of party`s minority wing.
New Delhi: A local Samajwadi Party leader Athar Turky joined the BJP today and was appointed as the Delhi Secretary of party`s minority wing.
Turky and his supporters were inducted into the party by Delhi BJP chief Vijender Gupta.
"Now it is open to all that at the time of elections Congress party has always given false assurances to the Muslim community for the sake of vote bank politics. This truth has come out and Muslim community member have lost their faith in Congress party," said Gupta. Turky was appointed secretary of BJP Minority Morcha. Yesterday, a local BSP leader Rampal Brijwasi, who contested the Delhi Assembly elections on party ticket, had joined BJP along with his supporters.
