New Delhi: After winning the Malaysia Masters Grand Prix Gold last week, India's P V Sindhu jumped one place to move to No. 11 in the latest BWF ranking released on Thursday.

Sindhu, has started off the year with a bang by winning the title in Malaysia on Sunday, which helped the young shuttler to earn 54,380 points in the women's singles ranking.


Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal retained her 2nd position with 78482 points in her kitty.


Carolina Marin of Spain is right at the top of the table with 91192 points.


In men's singles, Kidambi Srikanth is the only Indian player who is among the top-ten with 57484 points against his name.


Glasgow Commonwealth Games silver medallist Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa were steady at World No. 14, while men's doubles pair of Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy were at the


17th position.


Among others, B Sai Praneeth was at World No. 34, while Sameer Verma and RMV Gurusaidutt were just inside the top 50 at the 46th and 47th spot respectively.
