Vijender Singh to fight in Delhi?
Vijender won his debut pro bout. He is scheduled to face his second opponent on Saturday.
New Delhi: Though no dates have yet been announced, ace boxer Vijender Singh is likely to fight at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in the capital.
“At the moment, most of his (Vijender) learning and development are taking place in the gym," Francis Warren from Queensberry Promotions was quoted as saying by the Times of India.
“But by his fifth or sixth fight, we'll be looking to put him on in some form of title fight -perhaps WBO Asian -before 20,000 in Delhi. We're confident he'd draw 12,000, if we put him on there now in a four-rounder! And he's eligible for the Commonwealth title so that would be a logical next step.
“There was huge disappointment that he would not be a part of India's Olympic team for 2016 but we're going to help make him India's first-ever world champion,“ he further added.

The Indian will fight Dean Gillen in Dublin in a four-round contest.
