New Delhi: India completed a scintillating 69-18 victory over England in their last Group A match on Tuesday in Ahmedabad, earning themselves a place in the semi-finals.

Virender Sehwag couldn't hide his delight after witness England's poor performance in a World Cup yet again though the sport wasn't football but Kabaddi.


Here's how Viru trolled the English side:



"England loose in a World Cup again.Only the sport changes.This time it's Kabaddi. India thrash them 69-18.All the best for semis," wrote Sehwag.


Film star Abhishek Bachchan and cricketer Mohammad Kaif also congratulated team India for the success.




"Congratulations to the Indian Kabaddi team for qualifying for the semi-finals in the Kabaddi World Cup," tweeted Abhishek Bachchan.


"Congratulations India on defeating England comprehensively in #kabaddiworldcup2016. All the best for the semis against Iran," tweeted Mohammad Kaif.


Finishing the group stage with 21 points in five matches, India faught back after losing the opening encoutner to South Korea. They subsequently secured 4 back-to-back victories, defeating Australia, Bangladesh and Argentina by huge margins.


South Korea, however, topped the group with 25 points having won all of their matches.
