New Delhi: In a shocking incident, some foreign wrestlers recently attacked The Great Khali's wrestling academy in Jalandhar.
The wrestlers not only vandalised things, but also fought with academy's staff apart from tearing important files and documents.
Dilip Singh Rana, popularly known as The Great Khali, was not present when the incident happened.
According to a report in Thetribune.com, Dilip said the wrestlers were upset after the postponement of a wrestling tournament in Gurgaon. Khali had reportedly not got the permission to hold the event in Gurgaon as the dates were coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city.
“We could not get the police clearance and, hence, had to postpone the tournament. Due to this, the wrestlers created a ruckus in my #academy today,” said Dilip Singh Rana.
The report also added that he did not register a case with the police as he wanted to settle the matter on his own.
In a video shared by NewsNationTV, Khali stormed to the hotel where the wrestlers were staying in Chandigarh and took his revenge:
